I think a fantastic and easy idea would be that each home on arrival has a bin of age appropriate toys for the children. These toys could be swapped out once a month; turn them in, the team sanitizes them, and new bins are ready for pickup. Our Sintra location EC has a library where kids can check books out but I would also include some books. This would be so helpful so parents don't have to travel with so many toys, and refreshing them monthly would keep everyone excited.

Prioritize sleep for the whole family and make sure that everyone has comfortable beds/linens, black out shades, etc. Well-rested families are happy families!

If someone wets the bed, has a bloody nose, or needs to clean up a big spill, it would be great to have at least one extra set of linens and towels on hand. It would also be helpful to have an extra blanket in case someone is sick and needs to sleep on the couch, etc. Would be nice to have these readily available already in the homes.

Saw a great idea/request in the slack – a housing swap between Boundless families who want to visit other towns during their mid-term, week break! I certainly would be interested in volunteering our lodging for this; maybe there's a way to formalize the conversation if more express interest.
