Lending Libraries in Family Lounges

Family lounges could include a simple lending library with books, toys, games, and essential family gear. To keep it functional, there should be a basic, regularly updated inventory list so families know exactly what’s available. Beyond books and toys, this could cover items that many families end up buying repeatedly: Hatch lights, blackout shades, strollers, scooters, travel car seats, Books! and other kid essentials that often get handed down informally anyway. Instead of each family scrambling to buy and resell the same items every cohort, these could live in a shared pool that rotates as needed. The same idea applies to household basics like air fryers or other useful appliances - things that make day-to-day life easier but can't be hauled around the world.

This would be amazing. i'm getting so stressed out thinking about what I need to bring and what I'll have to buy while there. This would be a great way for families to also donate things that they bring but will no longer need going home.

Yes, this would be hugely beneficial for both incoming and outgoing families.
